Since early 2017, I had nightmare for a long time. At the same time, I had found that the border between dreams and reality was getting blurred increasingly. This film starts with my own experience and thinking, also with a large number of interviews and research, trying to explore the similarities between dreams and anxiety.
The setting of the hand in the film also comes from a personal experience, which is the totem that I use to judge whether I am in a dream or not.
For the end, It’s an open-end, maybe this time she wakes up in reality, maybe in a dream, it depends on what you think what you want.
EARLY Ideas
For the early idea of this film, I wanted to work on the connection between traumas and dreams, especially for young people. According to this idea, I created some monsters for the nightmare.
